Loudoun County Golf Clubs Undergoing Major Changes

Beacon Hill Golf Club - Leesburg, VAI thought this article from the Washington Post (gasp!) was pretty interesting. Many Loudoun County, Virginia golf clubs/golf courses are undergoing major changes.

Quoting the article; “The Presidential has reopened under a new name — the 1757 Golf Club (named for the year Loudoun County was founded) — and new management. Billy Casper Golf, based in Vienna, which manages more than 100 courses in 25 states, announced last week that it had signed a long-term lease to manage the course. So far, almost 500 golfers have tried out the driving range. About a dozen tee times for the club’s nine-hole course are scheduled for a tentative opening Friday.

Last week my wife, daughter and mother-in-law had a quick get away to Rehoboth Beach, DE. While it’s getting to be “that time of year” and beach trips aren’t that uncommon, this trip was very special to our family.

Visions of suffering and funerals filled our minds and our hearts were truly broken. We just knew that Joan was not long for this world.  That was three years ago.
