I hadn’t heard this one yet. It’s perfect for everything that’s been happening recently down home. So far everyone I have contacted has been ok, and I’ve been praying a lot as friends and relatives check in.
I think my favorite country song that applies to my life has to be “Independence Day”. I was in an abusive marriage from 1992 till 2003, when I took my two kids and a baby and ran to a battered women’s shelter, so I totally get it. I always want to be there for women and children so they don’t have to feel like they have no options. I volunteer as a counselor when I can. but I’m going to post this video on my facebook and look for the music. He hit the nail on the head.
